Revoltech Alien 001 Front
Revoltech Alien Sci-Fi #001 – Full body shot

Hi, this is him and welcome to my first post. Bought this Revoltech Alien last year, finally an ultra posable Alien figure without a huge price tag :) This is the first in the Revoltech Sci-Fi series, 001, manufactured by Kaiyodo. Revoltech click-joints allow a large degree of movement while holding each increment locked and steady. Different joint sizes are employed in the neck, shoulders, elbows, knees and ankles, making a variety of poses possible. This particular Alien is from the first Alien movie in 1979 by Ridley Scott. This famous design is of course, by H.R. Giger, featuring a semi-translucent & smooth dome on the head.

Enjoy the mini-photo shoot!

I chose the purple ring and he chose the black one.  I couldn’t resist a mini photo shoot the next day.

As for me, I browsed through the store without seeing anything of interest, but I was determined to get something for retail therapy. Then I browsed their groceries section and saw these 2 adorable hello kitty cup noodles going for US99cents each before the 20 percent discount. Talk about cheap retail therapy!

Happy Halloween? You Bat-Cha!

This is my hamster Mario’s Halloween photoshoot this year (2010). At almost two years old, he’s showing signs of aging, but nevertheless still looking very very handsome (or shall I say ham-some). Here he is cosplaying as a bat since it’s common knowledge that bats are actually hamsters with wings.
